These are skin-loving ingredients that are scientifically proven to be beneficial to the skin. We use these in our formulations, and encourage you to look for these ingredients on all of your INCI lists!
Why: Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our skin and behaves there like a sponge: it can bind up to 1000 times its own weight in water! As we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases, so we use products to supplement the loss for bouncy skin.
Why: Green tea is proven to be a great antioxidant, UV protectant, anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, and antimicrobial. Because of these amazing properties, green tea is a great ingredient for anti-aging, rosacea, acne, and atopic dermatitis.
Why: Caffeine is a water-loving molecule with good skin penetration abilities. Once in the skin, it has antioxidant properties.
Why: Aloe is a wonderful moisturizer with several anti-inflammatory and antibacterial components. It also helps wound healing and skin regeneration.
Why: Coconut water is a nourishing ingredient on the skin that is also claimed to have some antioxidant and anti-glycation properties because of its skin-moisturizing sugars, skin nourishing amino acids, minerals, vitamins and phytohormones.
Why: Squalane is a wonderful moisturizer, without being heavy or greasy, and is mostly compatible with all skin types and skin conditions, even acne-prone skin.
